Chantal Molleur spent 20 years working in the media arts industry in Montreal, before moving to Switzerland in 2005. Until 2012 she worked as a manager for the Swiss distribution platform videoart.ch. In 2011 she initiated the organisation White Frame to promote Swiss video and media art projects and became the Swiss delegate for FIFA (International Festival of Films on Art) Montreal.
On the board of juries, she has on several occasions been responsible for awarding scholarships to artists and filmmakers. Molleur is founder and curator of White Frame, a Swiss nonprofit nomadic association operating at the intersection of video art, cinema and photography. At the Lucerne School of Art and Design, Molleur is also promoter of the bachelor and master films for the BA Video, BA Animation and MA Film. She closely collaborates with Freihändler Film Production in the evaluation and promotion of films.
